Terminal 1 is designed for 3.5 million passengers per year and has a total of 37 gates, 37 check-in counters as well as 4 passenger boarding bridges. Terminal 2 is only used for domestic Germanwings flights and has nine check-in counters. Terminal 3 is designed for 4 million passengers, making it the largest and newest terminal. It has a capacity of 24 gates, 38 check-in counters as well as 4 passenger boarding bridges. A former aircraft hangar was converted to Terminal 4. In total, Terminal 4 has 17 check-in counters and 22 gates for boarding with airport shuttle buses.
